Happy Fourth of July from our team to you and your pint-sized ones! We hope your night is filled with an abundance of fireworks, sparklers, red, white, & blue. Whether you're going to an event or hosting one of your own, here is a fun DIY that will liven up any party: homemade funfetti cupcakes with handmade toppers. Simply follow the steps in our previous post on making tags. Note, instead of punching a hole on the top of the tag and tying a string to it, skip those steps and tape your creation to a toothpick. Voila, you have a handmade cupcake topper!
As your friends, family, or even yourself become pregnant what better way to welcome the little one with a DIY project. Over at BMG we find that homemade elements are not only more affordable, but also add a personal flair to things that simply cannot be bought. Therefore, we decided to make simple tags that serve multiple purposes. Use them as a finishing touch to your baby shower favors, as a gift topper, or a to and from card. Follow the steps below to create your own.
Sadly, the weekend is over and Monday is here yet again… is probably what most of you are thinking. Though, who says Monday’s can’t be fun? We’ve all been kids before and whether it was 20 or 30 years ago, relive a little of it today. Treat yourself and your kiddos to some homemade magic shell tossed over your favorite scoop of ice cream. While store bought magic shell is processed and loaded with sugar, this homemade shell only contains two ingredients (two of which you probably already own). Also, for those of you with allergies or specific lifestyle choices this treat is gluten-free and can easily be made vegan with a quick substitute for dairy free semi-sweet chocolate chips. Here is a simple step-by-step guide to making this delicious dessert. 1. Measure out 1/4 a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
2. Add the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl 3. Add a tsp of coconut oil 4. Microwave for 1 minute 5. Stir 6. Pour over a scoop of your favorite ice cream 7. Add any toppings of your choice 8. Enjoy! We all have those days where we can’t possibly imagine stepping out of our house. Whether it be because your kids have managed to consume too much sugar (and are thus consuming you) or because your little one has had nightmares for the last three nights and its your turn to catch up on some sleep. Well, we’re excited to announce that you can now access our boutique from your bed, in your pajamas, or whatever other conditions the day may bring. On our blog we will focus on trying to make your life a little easier from outfit ideas, DIY crafts and our favorite kid friendly recipes. Our goal is to bring a little creativity and inspiration into your lives. Here’s a short video to get you as excited as we are. |
